Young girls who have experienced traumatic and near-death experiences are fitted with cybernetic implants as agents. A common part of each girl's regimen is brainwashing which produces a deadly assassin with unquestioning loyalty. [★★★ - Above Average]

In this episode:

- Heathendog's Heathendogma: Nightbane (A Palladium Books RPG).

- Garthon's Comic Pull: Avengers #2, Captain America #702 and Justice League: No Justice #2.

- Random Number Generator (RNG): What do Heathendog and Garthon think of the upcoming “Thundercats Roar” series?

--------------------

- Watch and interact LIVE every Saturday at 8:00pm CT on https://twitch.tv/legionofmyth.

--------------------

HEATHENDOG'S HEATHENDOGMA:

- 5:43 - The world of Nightbane is a dark fantasy setting very much like our own modern world on the surface, but beneath that, it is more sinister. Disappearances and murders are common place. Reports of monster sightings are more frequent, and people tend to feel hopeless and helpless. The reason for this is that a secret cabal of supernatural beings from another dimension and their shapeshifting minions have quietly seized control of the world's government and corporate powers.

GARTHON'S COMIC PULL:

- 40:03 - Avengers (2018-) #2 - Black Panther and Dr. Strange battle for their lives deep within the earth…Captain Marvel battles death and destruction raining down from the skies…while Thor, Iron Man and Captain America lead the valiant (yet hopeless) fight against the Final Host of Dark Celestials. And Ghost Rider and the Savage Hulk make brutal war against...each other? Plus, you can't have a gathering of Avengers without a certain Prince of Lies, now can you? [★★★ - Above Average]

- 43:53 - Captain America (2017-) #702 - The quest to save his son leads Jack Rogers into the bowels of the Earth, far from the idyllic surface — and a meeting with the descendant of another notable Marvel hero! [★★★ - Above Average]

- 54:02 - JUSTICE LEAGUE: NO JUSTICE #2 - The teams arrive at Brainiac’s home world to find it already in chaos. Only by splitting up and journeying to the four cosmic trees of Colu will they have any hope of saving the planet…but what’s waiting for them will test the true mettle of their new alliances! [★★★★ - Very Good]

RANDOM NUMBER GENERATOR (RNG):

- 1:04:52 - The announcement of Thundercats Roar garnered a severe backlash from fans of the original 1980s series and the 2011 series, who have ridiculed the animation style, creators, and shift to comedy. Despite Courtright's reassurance that action would still be an important aspect of the new series, fans against the changes made unfavorable comparisons to Teen Titans Go!

In year 93 of the vessel's exile, the Mud Whale encounters a lonely island and Chakuro finds a girl inside, starting an adventure that changes the lives of everyone. [★★ - Poor]
