A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...
A small band of nitwits took on the Galactic Empire. This is the story of those intrepid rebels who built a rebellion within the twin sectors of Juvex and Senex.
The rebel operatives who escaped from Hoth have found an almost empty rebel base in the Juvex Sector. The rebels from the Juvex rebel base were captured and are scheduled to be terminated. So our heroes must sneak onto the Imperial base and free them before it is too late.
This is a narrative description of an ongoing campaign of the Star Wars role playing game by Fantasy Flight Games. We use all three versions of the game, but list the one most relevant to the current episode in the title.

The Battle of Hoth is raging, and a small band of rebel operatives must locate a Bothan diplomat who has gone missing. The diplomat has in his memory the location of every rebel cell in the outer and mid-rim territories. He must be found and rescued, or kept from falling into the hands of the Empire.

FYI: Some people might still be getting a bad, unedited version of webisode. If so, please inform me and where youdownloaded it. Hopefully I can get it resolved. In the meantime, the correct version should be on the website: https://rpgstorytime.buzzsprout.com/1015516/8607458-star-wars-age-of-rebellion-webisode-1-escape-from-hoth?play=true

QUICK NOTE: MY APOLOGIES TO ALL OF YOU WHO LISTENED TO THE LAST PODCAST EPISODE. THE WRONG AUDIO FILE WAS UPLOADED BY MISTAKE. (It was the raw, unedited file with all my stammers and redos. Now you know how much I edit!)
Many thanks to MARK ALPERT who noticed the mistake and texted me about it. This is a really great campaign, and I'd hate to have it start out with this glaring mistake.
Also, this episode would not have been uploaded, and this is actually supposed to be what was released yesterday. It's an introduction to the campaign, and how it unraveled. I'm telling it partially so people can understand the flow of the campaign, but also because I think it's an interesting story about how a campaign can fall apart, but come back together in a way we don't expect.
And it almost didn't make it to the site if it weren't for a friend's supportiveness. So thanks once again to him, and my apologies once again to everyone else. I'll try not to let that happen anymore.
Today I'm talking with Eric of Geeky Teas & Games here in Burbank, California. They are a game store with a game library that players can enjoy at the location. They're also a cat rescue and a tea shop. And when the pandemic hit, like most small businesses, they had to adapt and survive. Eric explains how they did it, and what they're doing now as we all come back into the world.
You can see more about Geeky Teas at their website: https://www.geekyteas.com/
Geeky Teas is now carrying Star Wars Legion, and we're playing every other Wednesday night. Come and join us, and listen to our Star Wars story on RPG Storytime!
Amazon has released a new platform for serialized stories called Kindle Vella. I used the characters from the Gangbusters campaign that just ended to create an ongoing story which takes place in San Francisco during the 1920s.
The first story involves a series of murders that are all somehow connected, and the last of the Tongs in Chinatown. You can find it here: https://amzn.to/2U4j4n2

We just finished all of the modules for Gangbusters, a game about gangsters and lawmen of the 1920s. In celebration of that ending, I'm posting a short documentary about a book I wrote called Two Gun Hart. It's the true story of one of the most successful Prohibition officers in the country, and he happened to be Al Capone's long-lost brother.
The book is available on Amazon and all other e-readers. you can find it here: https://amzn.to/3vvPaVE
This is a sort of departure from our usual game clips. We will be back to gaming next episode when we speak to one of the owners of Geeky Teas about reopening after the pandemic.
Richard Barston was a former BoI agent, but when he decided to marry a daughter of the head of the mob, someone killed him. Now the whole city is on alert, and everyone, from the police to the feds to the newspapers is trying to find out who. Dylan Grieble has been hired by the widow to draw up a list of likely suspects so they can narrow in on who done it.
This is part six of a narrative of a play through of the module "Death in Spades", the fifth and final module from Gangbusters, an RPG game about mobsters and mayhem set in the 1920s.
The characters in these stories are now in a serialized story on Amazon. You can check it out at: https://amzn.to/2U4j4n2
