This podcast talks about addictions of a diverse nature, from mild to severe degrees of drugs and alcohol addictions, to gambling, sexual and other manifestations. A personal account of receiving pain killers such as Demerol in the emergency room, the version of IV that was implemented for my severe pain of gout in both ankles, the experience was no doubt above elation, a sensation at the time was alien to me, it was like a magic potion, the pain suddenly subsided as if I were in another realm of paradise. That experience alone has qualified myself to project that addiction to opioids is a serious matter. I understand 100% how this potion, this pain killer can become something so insatiable to someone that the need for it beyond any severe pain is understandable. Addictions happen because of whatever the content one consumes, it is merely for a so-called high, an escape from reality. Once addictions produces a fictitious lifestyle, their truth, their existence become negligent, producing a slow to rapid decent into obscurity, and even death caused by different serious factors, and worst of all suicide. Addictions of any kind that is negative in one's life needs to be addressed at a juncture well ahead of disaster.

In this podcast, I talk about faith in God to heal mental issues. Not everyone subscribes to faith based healing, however there are countless individuals that have found healing in the Scriptures in the Holy Bible. In this episode, I delve in the verses of Proverbs 17, all 28 verses are read. As a Christian myself, I do not force my personal beliefs on to others, and I do respect all people of different beliefs, or non-beliefs. I also state, that if anyone is being tended to for their mental health issues, to continue to follow the professionals instructions on their road to recovery, and that I myself is not trained to offer any advice. So if you are attending any type of prescribed counseling, or taking medication from an expert in medicine, and psychology, please stay the course, ask questions, and state how you are honestly feeling. I hope that anyone suffering from mental illness will get better with proper professional care. The game was postponed rightfully so, as people displayed the utmost in humanity as prayers poured in from all over the world. And a look back at vain talent in the NBA, Kwame Brown, a 7 footer that was a first rounder of the Wizzards, only to have an anemic career 6 points average per game, seemingly a player that was in possession of zero peripheral vision of anything greater than what he put into his career. And a rewind on the Jim Rome interview of Jim Everett back in 1994, when Jim Rome questioned Jim's toughness at quarterback referring to Everett as Chris, as in Chris Evert the female tennis star. Everett attacked Rome on air. And a look at the top jockeys of horse racing. Sports has become entertainment, like it or not, money is made by unique athletes that do well on their stage of performance, or outside their chosen arenas, the media both standard and the new social, is always seeking a story, it defines the human psyche on what people want to feed their minds with.
