Thousands of young participants from nearly 200 countries have gathered in Yekaterinburg for the International Festival of Youth.

RT spoke with Daniel Hugo Santos from the Philippines, who says the event gives young people an opportunity to discover Russia firsthand, establish international connections and strengthen ties between future leaders.
