However historian David Dickson joined Ryan on the line to explain that this isn't the first time Ireland has battled through a pandemic and come out the other side and how looking to our past can offer hope for the future.

On February 13th, 1981 Maureen and Francis Lawlor decided to take a rare night off from looking after their baby daughter, Lisa, and headed to a nightclub called Stardust, in north Dublin. Jen spoke to their daughter Lisa who grew up in the shadow of the Stardust tragedy on how it shaped her and why she had learned to really embrace life.
