Irishwoman Orna O'Reilly moved to Italy with the express purpose of writing a novel...and she has succeeded! After years of travel-writing, her first book, "The Blonde in the Gondola," came out last month. She shared her story of her love for all things Italian, and how they inspired her tale, with Maggie.

Irish author Jean Grainger is, along with her husband and two young children, taking a gap year, and is leaving Cork for the sunny skies of Australia. She told Maggie about their upcoming adventure and how her writing success is funding it.
