June is the month for weddings and graduations. We celebrate with bright lights and loud music, We shoot off air guns that make outrageous noises. Everyone has a great time, right? Don't be so sure about that. Many of our loved ones struggling with PTS and traumatic brain injuries are still dealing with the reflex to duck and the unpleasant feeling that goes with it when a loud sound goes off in their ears. Bright lights signal other messages to their brains. Loud, riotous situations are different for them. The game of war is changing, and more and more of our young men and women are coming back with traumatic brain injuries. There is a lot of debate going on right now about just what PTS or PTSD is and isn't and whether it can or can not be cured. Please tune in to find 6 what the current modalities are for dealing with this these important issues facing our young family members during PTSD MONTH. Dr. Rick and Dr. Denise will tell you all about It.
