The boys are back in studio for this weeks episode of Reaction Time Sports. The Gophers get destroyed by Maryland leaving the guys baffled and treading water as the boat may be sinking in DinkyTown. Our boys in purple squeeze out a victory over the cheese heads on Sunday. Was it a fluke? Or are the Vikings back? Plus, we have Round 3 of Taylor's Thirsty Questions - MN Sports Trivia on tap! 

Marc, Joey and Virtual Andrew recap the Gophers season opening loss to Michigan and how the Maroon and Gold can bounce back in a big way verse Maryland. It's also Packer week in the state of the north as the Minnesota Vikings travel to Green Bay to take on the Packers. The boys deep dive into what the Vikings need to do to escape Lambeau with a victory come Sunday and discuss the potential NFL trade deadline and what affect it could have on the Vikings. To finish things off the crew plays Round 2, of Taylor's Thirsty Questions: MN Sports Trivia, Week 8 survivor league picks plus DFS and Fantasy football plays. This weeks episode of Reaction Time Sports doesn't disappoint as Marc, Joey and first timer on the show Sean recap the first 4 weeks of the NFL season for NFC North division teams Vikings, Packers and Bears. On the hockey side of things the boys detail all the recent Minnesota Wild moves along with the recent draft choice of 19 year old center, Marco Rossi. We also debuted a new bit on the show, Thirsty Questions - Minnesota Sports Trivia game into the mix as the boys had to answer several questions about Minnesota sports history and if wrong, their punishment was to take a shot of a potentially nasty drink. For example, one mixer was beat juice and lemon. It wasn't good. All that and then some on this weeks episode of Reaction Time Sports!

Season 2 kicks off with the Minnesota Twins getting swept out of the playoffs and the Minnesota Vikings beginning the NFL season 0-3. Upper Midwest Sprint Car Series drivers Scott Brandt of the 7b and Jon Lewerer of the 69s roll into studio to recap their victories from a couple weekends ago. Scott taking the checkers at Cedar Lake Speedway on Friday night with the UMSS and Jon making a stop into victory lane at Devils Lake Speedway with the Western Renegade Sprint Car Series on Saturday evening. Also two very good friends off the race track they take a look into yester year and share some stories from their longtime friendship while tipping back a few cold ones along the way!

With the race season on hold currently and no end in sight either, Blake Anderson and Cam Schafer, drivers of Non Wing Sprint Cars in the UMSS, swing into studio to talk anything and everything racing. Both drivers have a long history of racing which provided plenty of stories to share. Most ended up with us rolling on the floor laughing. A quick 2019 review for each drivers was included, 2020 previews as well and our social media questions answered by both Blake and Cam.

After a couple week layoff and continuing on with day number, who knows of this quarantine we hopped back on the mics here at the studio. Joey "Boom Boom" Rothmeyer was in studio with me, as well was Jon Lewerer calling in for a few minutes from his home around a cozy camp fire. We discuss the fallout of the Kyle Larson situation from last week, some WWE talk, and Boom Boom and myself constructed some top 5 lists which included our favorite sports movies and favorite sports teams from baseball, basketball and football. These lists had a twist though. We couldn't include our favorite home teams! Tune in and check it out!

Episode 8 brings us our first Vikings edition to the podcast and there was A LOT to talk about. First time guest host Andrew Voelk was in studio for this one and after some deep discussion, I believe his expectations for the team in 2020 are a little lower now. With the current state of the team strapped for cash and needing to make moves to get below the salary cap number we take a look at potentially what the Vikings could do to gain a few extra dollars. Free agency talk, roster moves, the draft and a 2020 final record prediction are all on tap and much much more!
