I call it the Chickenpox Theory of Love: love, like chickenpox, is something most people go through at least once. The first exposure usually comes with fever—intense attachment, heartbreak, confusion—but it also builds emotional antibodies. Those who experience love and breakup early often learn regulation, detachment, and self-awareness with time.
