Ruby meets Father Mojo and explains her need to find the Time Suspenders. He sends Ruby to Sister Hooloopoo on the Floating Islands of Osmos, inflatable cities that drift among the clouds. Meanwhile, in the Underworld city of Erishkigal, Inanna is summed to meet the dark ruler, the Maharani.

Ruby, our sassy “galactic gumshoe,” is hired to discover the source of a dark force emanating through the walls of Magnifico, the City of Malls, which is causing a buying frenzy. In a parallel story, techno-anthropologist Inanna seeks the meaning of the Seven Gates engraved on her amulet.
