Lt. Colonel Greg Borah is a veteran of 3 deployments to the Middle East including a combat tour as a platoon leader in Iraq.  Greg is retired from the Army Reserves after 27 years of service.  Greg is also retired from the Illinois Department of Corrections with 25 years of service.  Greg joined the Army Reserves as an enlisted man and was given a direct commission to Lt.  Greg's experience has given him unique insight into his leadership role.

Ty Nottingham is a Veteran of the United States Army.  Ty retired in 2016 as a Chief Warrant Officer 2.  Ty started his career as an infantryman in the 82nd Airborne Division before transferring to the Illinois National Guard and eventually becoming a Blackhawk pilot.  Ty is a twenty year Veteran of the City of Decatur Police Department and is an EMT and volunteer Firefighter.

Tom Drake is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps where he served as a machine gunner. He served in several theaters of Operation to include the Persian Gulf, the Philippines and Somalia. He retired from the Illinois Department of Corrections as a Sergeant where he served as a member of the Menard Correctional Center’s Tactical Unit as well as a hostage negotiator.

Episode 4 Ross Jenkins 11/22/2023

Ross Jenkins is a veteran of the United States Air Force.  He is a graduate of the US Air Force S.E.R.E (Survival Evasion Resistance and Escape) school as well as water survival and the Enlisted Air Crew Undergraduate Course.  He served numerous deployments to the Middle-East as well as South America.  He was awarded 12 Air Medals and was deployed as a private contractor to Africa 15 times.

In this episode, Ross discussed his time in the Air Force and his deployments overseas.

Episode 3 Part 2 Zach Sarver 10/26/23

 Zach Sarver is a veteran of the United States Army.  He retired as a 1st Sergeant and served as both an infantryman and calvary scout.  He served in Iraq and Afghanistan where he received two bronze stars.  He is a graduate of the US Army’s Airborne, Air Assault, Ranger Pathfinder and Mountain Warfare schools.  Zach is also the statewide Commander of Illinois Department of Corrections S.O.R.T. (Special Operations Response Team) as well as being a sworn police officer.

In Part 2, Zach discusses his time in combat, and serving as statewide S.O.R.T. Commander.
