Opening night of RUF at Erskine 2016, 13 years after the first one! A good crowd of about 100 for the opening cookout and first study of John's Gospel. Hot weather, but a good time!

Almost the end of the semester! A beautiful night with a few first timers and growing sense of establishing momentum and rhythm in weekly ministry.

A BEAUTIFUL day! Weather was perfect AND we hosted Anderson RUF for our first joint event (after years of trying). We played kickball, had a great meal, and enjoyed fellowship in song and Bible study in the Barn!

"And the LORD sent Nathan to David...." these words of grace show the "hard edge" of grace and how grace confronts us and disrupts us before it settles us, as seen in Nathan's confrontation of David after his sin with Bathsheba and murder of Uriah.

A beautiful, perfect spring day at the Barn! And, Barnadillas too! In our study of the Lord's Prayer we consider the petition "Lead us not into Temptation" in light of David's temptation and sin with Bathsheba in 2 Samuel 11.

Week 6 of the Barn saw some rain and return of cold air and gray skies, but we enjoyed Pizza for dinner, some new faces for the first time, some return visitors, and our faithful returnees for a challenging talk on being forgiven and forgiving others, as the Lord's Prayer instructs us to pray.

Week 5 at the Barn with some great weather! BBQ and lots of Barn games in the field with a great temperature made for a good night of fellowship with some new faces of Erskine students invited out for Fellowship at the Barn.

Week 4 in the Lord's Prayer and the return of cookouts at the Barn, this time on a brand new grill and with RUF NC State and RUF Meredith College in the Barn for a week of Spring Break Widows' Ministry with Bill May! It felt like old times as we had 100 in the Barn like we used to for 10 years at Erskine!

Week 2 of Spring 2016 at the Barn saw warmer weather (65 degrees) up from 32 degrees the previous week! Our study of The Lord's Prayer and that God has called His people to "make His name Great and Greatly Known in all the Earth" was our emphasis as we considered that are called to "Hallow" God's Name. 1. What's In a Name? 2. What does it mean to Hallow God's Name? And, that 3. Sincere Christians Adore God's Name were our 3 points of study, with numerous quotations throughout.
