Rugby League World Cup - Round 1 Group Games Review

AJ and Rhys review the first round of group games in the long awaited Rugby League World Cup. They look at England’s annihilation of Samoa and question Matt Parish’s future, then switch pace as Fiji push Australia to the limit but still fall short. Sunday’s triple header saw wins for AJ and Rhys’ heritage countries in Italy and Ireland over Scotland and World Cup new boys Jamaica. Plus the Kiwi’s got past Lebanon in a match marred by Adam Doueihi’s send off. As well as the long awaited debut of Greece at the World Cup and they were by far the entertainers. Tonga and PNG dual it out which shows how far PNG has come in the last few years. As well as Wales pushing the Cook Islands all the way. We also have to chat about Des Hasler’s departure from Manly today too.
