Shawn and Jude tackle Jude's tribute deck to the man, the myth, the godfather of EDH - Sheldon Menery - using the Secret Lair re-skin of Ruhan of the Fomori. We also talk about playing Aikido-style decks in EDH and how much fun they can be. Aikido being the Japanese martial art which aims to protect the practitioner while using the opponent's energy against themselves or just redirecting that energy away from you.

Shawn tackles one of the toughest topics in Magic - tilt, or salt, or any word you want to use to describe the feeling of being out of emotional control while sitting to play a game of Magic.

Shawn tackles one of his absolute favorite commanders from Modern Horizons 3 and makes the case that Rosheen, Roaring Prophet is being slept on, hard, and is actually a very powerful, fun option that takes Gruul Stompy into some new territory.

Shawn, with input from silver-border guru Carl, makes a TOP 10 silver-bordered card list that's A-OKAY for EDH. Also, he waxes philosophical some about how 3.5 sets worth of Magic cards are somehow illegal in this casual format, when many of them are fun, fair, and add some spice to your game night.

Shawn and Taylor talk about the official ban list and the curated ban list they use in their playgroup for a "Rule 7" deck. Disclaimer: we've got no sway over the RC, so we're not getting anything banned or un-banned, but you should always have conversations with your playgroup about what you do and don't like to see across the table in the games you play.
