This amazing camping trip to Africa was unique for us.  We had never liked camping very much, we never owned a tent and we never slept in the wilds, until this 3-week long adventure pitching and stowing away our tent night after night in deepest, darkest Africa.  
I learned the real meaning of being cheap, and that sometimes you need to be cheap.  I learned how to be frugal and that when you have a real, concrete goal, embracing the frugal lifestyle brings riches to you, even faster than you ever thought possible.
