In a world of information overload, it's already difficult to concur what is true and what is false. Then there are those who engage in the destructive action of blatantly spreading lies or telling tales after twisting the truth. 
There could be serious damage to the reputation and well being of the person being talked about. We must all learn to be impeccable with our words and be able to stop the flow of these tales when we come across them.
