The Run For The Roses Festival 2025 took place in Castlerea town for a special 5K last Sunday, the 27th July, starting and finishing at The Hub and organised by Castlerea Crusaders AC and was held as part of the Castlerea Rose Festival. RosFM's Martina Dockery and Shane Browne were there and spoke to Gary Elbert, the First runner home, Muriel Moran from Castlerea Crusaders AC, Peter Turner, the Race Director, Alicia Manning representing O' Gara contractors and Yulia Shumyhora representing Benny's Deli - (Rose of Castlerea entrants), and Michelle Flatley from Castlerea Crusaders Athletic Club.
