With Dr. Patel now in their possession, Al and Howitzer seek a hideout to get off the streets and assess the situation. Once there, the elven scientist surprises the runners, throwing yet another monkey wrench into the works. Eventually striking a deal, they deliver the elf to the chosen location and complete their adventure (for now). A loose end remains, however, ensuring their story will continue later.
