Harvey has built an incredible career in ultrarunning, from winning Badwater 135 to competing at the highest levels of some of the world’s most demanding races. He’s also known for his extraordinary consistency, including running to and from work every day for more than a decade.
We talk about some of Harvey’s most memorable running moments, what it took to finally win Badwater, the lessons he’s learned through some of the toughest periods of his career, and the habits that have allowed him to keep performing at an incredible level.
