In Episode #59, we discuss ways to run efficient meetings. The host recommends having a written agenda and providing all attendees with a copy. Use a Sign-In Sheet to gather names and learn their correct spelling. Include such things as Call to Order, Introductions, Reading of Minutes, Discussion Topics, Reports, Set Next Meeting Date and Adjournment. During introductions have attendees share their first and last name, department or specialty, shift and how long they've been working. Limit meeting time to one hour or less. Finally, the host recommends two audiobooks on union organizing and productivity.
