Running in Circles

In this week’s episode Charlie and Jamie turn their attention to Spain, and analyse the increasingly interesting title race by taking a close look at it’s contenders: Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.

As well as this they cover the recent FA Cup results, and discuss whether they agree with Gareth Southgate’s latest England squad. 

In a Running in Circles first, this week Jamie and Charlie are joined by Alex Bidwell of the St Mary's Sports Gazette in order to discuss the state of the top 4 race in the Premier League. The boys discuss the strengths and weaknesses of each of the contenders, as well as ways they could improve and their end of season predictions. There is also discussion of Chris Wilder's sacking at Sheffield United and an update on the title race in Serie A.

They also examine yet another Liverpool loss and offer their thoughts on football's newest rivalry: Haaland vs Mbappé.

This week Charlie and Jamie search for an answer to the question of wether great footballers go on to make great managers after retirement from playing, as well as reacting to Roy Keane's now infamous 'Bad Champions' rant and recent controversy surrounding refereeing in the Premier League.
