Jesus didn’t say the world would know us by our rules. Or by our marches or protests. Those things may be an aspect of our life of faith, but ultimately, He said that the world should know us by our love. It can't be done simply by mind-over-matter or other personal disciplines – it's much easier to just let Jesus handle it! He will, too, every time!

There's a reason Jesus is your Lord and Savior – He willingly sacrificed Himself for your sake! He was beaten for things He didn't do, and sentenced to die a brutal death for no reason. Jesus could have saved Himself – He had the power to do it! Instead, Jesus CHOSE to stay on that cross, suffering the death you deserve so that you don't have to! Today Pastor Eddie will encourage you to live as Jesus did, setting aside your personal agenda and comfort to be a living sacrifice, an example of redemption!

Now, today, it's time to put what you've learned into practice! Jesus calls all His followers to not simply learn about life as a Christian, but to actually go out and live it! Set yourself apart from the world for Jesus sake, being willing to set aside your personal comfort to let others know about the Savior you serve!

When God made His promise to Abraham to make him into a great nation, He meant it. When Abraham took matters into his own hands and had Ishmael, God didn't take His promise back! God kept His word, creating two nations from Abraham's children. Pastor Eddie will share in today's message how faithful your Creator is, and how you can trust every promise He makes to you as well!
