In our culture, there are sinful things which we all pretend aren't so bad. Today Pastor Eddie warns us, that sin is sin, and that as Christians we must be careful not to diminish the validity of that fact. Judgement is coming for us all, and as such we must do our best to acknowledge sin, so that it won't be a thing that pulls us from God. We also must try to protect friends and families from sin. Share with them God's word, so that they might know.

For us to fully understand the grace of God, we must understand the wrath of God as well. Pastor Eddie tells us today, that the wrath of God is no laughing matter. Our God offers us grace through Christ, but His wrath is required in order to fulfill justice. He offers many opportunities for us to receive His grace, but a point of no return will eventually arrive for all. Accept God's grace through His son, Jesus Christ, and receive eternal life with Him.

Paul states that “For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen”. Pastor Eddie tells us, that this means God made man with an inherent knowledge of Him. All of us, deep down, know that we were created by God. We can see it in the incredible world around us, if we fail to see it in ourselves. This means God, and his coming judgement, are real. This means we need Christ to receive His grace.

It's easy to get so wrapped up in the problems of this world, that we forget that they're not actually problems at all. Pastor Eddie reminds us today, that as Christians we should know that the only thing to be concerned with, is the wrath of God. The fact is, in death we will all be held accountable to God. We will be judged, and only through the grace of Jesus can we be saved. Focus on the importance of Christ, and all else will seem small.

There are a lot of people out there who may look down on us for being Christian. They may think that religion is for the weak or foolish. Pastor Eddie tells us, that despite what the world around us may think, we should be proud of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Savior. He is God. Today we learn that Paul was up against a culture that hated the idea of Christ, yet he shared with them the message anyways. We too, should share Christ.

Do ever feel caught in the trap of striving and working for your salvation? Today, Pastor Eddie teaches that religion is the hamster wheel of strife; rituals, rules, and regulations. However, grace is a gift to all who believe. With grace, we no longer have to strive and perform, but receive the gift of justification. He teaches that justification means “just as if you had never sinned.” Salvation is by grace through faith, and faith alone.

We can't exclude when it comes to the gospel. Just like Paul did in his day, we are obligated to share the gospel to everyone who will listen. In today's message we learn from Pastor Eddie that Jesus wanted everyone to have access to him. So, whether sophisticated, not sophisticated, homeless or elite; Paul understood the gospel was for all. That is the challenge for believers today; to share the good new to all who will listen.

Today Pastor Eddie shares with us why prayer needs to be a habit of the church. As we look to Paul, we see that he regularly made mention of fellow believers in his prayers. This tells us that Paul thought this to be a crucial habit in the church. Prayer tells God that we have faith in Him and that we wish to consult with Him. It's an important connection with Him that we let go unused too often. Make a point to pray for your Church.

Do you ever feel like the calling on your life seems small? In today's message, Pastor Eddie teaches that every call from the Lord is great no matter how big or small it seems. His challenge to us, is to be careful in how we view our callings. Like Paul, we must fix our eyes on God, and where He is leading us. We may think that other's callings seem more significant, but we are reminded that just as God called Paul, He is calling us!

Was not Jesus a servant? Today, Pastor Eddie encourages believers through the teaching of Paul, to follow after Christ's example in humility and service. Paul considered himself to be enslaved to Christ, and was diligent in obeying his will. He carried out his life and work unto the Lord. As believers, if Jesus was willing to humble himself to God's will and serve; even to the point of death on a cross, shouldn't we be willing to serve as well?
