When you read the Old Testament laws and all the sacrifices and rituals the priests had to do, you probably get confused and skip through those passages. You might last a few days, maybe a couple of weeks. But as soon as you see someone’s nice house or fancy new car, you might start coveting it. In your life’s journey, there lies a promised land beckoning you to enter through its gates. Instead of backsliding into the world’s wisdom, let God lead you into a fresh territory full of His assurances.
