  • Growing up
On today's episode of Running Through My Mind, we're talking about growing up. I just turned 30 and the idea of growing up is always something people around me have put into a negative light. In my mind, growing up just means getting to live longer.. and there's nothing bad about that! Don't let society and people around you put pressure on you because of your age. You'll do what you're meant to do when the time is right. Thanks for listening along. Go get that run in! Follow me on instagram: @hellahgood9

  • Limiting your limits

On today's episode of Running Through My Mind, we talk about limiting your limits. This episode was inspired heavily by Brian Reynolds. I was so honored to meet Brian last week during his world record 5k (he already held the world record at 16:49) attempt. Brian is a double amputee long distance runner and 6x world record holder and an all around amazing human. Learning to live without limitations will change your life and the first person that can stop putting limits on you is YOU. Just go out there and live! Thanks for listening along. Go get that run in! • Patting yourself on the back

On today's episode of Running Through My Mind, I talk about patting yourself on the back and celebrating your achievements.. whether it's waking up in the morning, getting out of bed, or running a marathon. Anything we do that we're proud of deserves a celebration and it's so important that we are the ones celebrating ourselves. We are given so many gifts that sometimes we don't even realize we are privileged to have. My mind was really all over the place the past few runs so this episode definitely reflects that. I hope you learn something and I hope you celebrate something that you are proud of yourself for today. Remember, you can't pour from an empty cup. Thanks for listening along. Go get that run in! • Being the change

On today's episode of Running Through My Mind, I talk a little bit about how I learned to "be the change." That's what was running through my mind on day 1206 of the run streak. It's always easier said than done but changing your focus from playing victim to actively working on the things you are capable of changing can make you see yourself and your life in a whole new perspective. I go a little more into detail about my injury recovery and the mental toll it has taken on me. Thanks for listening along. Go get that run in! Follow me on insta: @hellahgood9
