“Tar River Running Company’s Michael Forrester has organized several races, including the annual Mill Chill 4-Mile in Rocky Mount that benefits the National MS Society. His latest endeavors are virtual 5K and 19K races to help support North Carolina craft brewery employees who have been impacted by business declines due to the risks created by COVID-19. Dubbed the “Flatten The Curve Race”, Forrester hopes to fill the void of canceled and postponed races for runners and help support the craft breweries so many runners enjoy."
