While we've all seen and heard the warnings of medication on a commercial, we tend to dismiss or not heed their warnings. I believe it's often due to the upbeat, happy voice of the talent reading the script.
Imagine having a doctor read the same script slowly without high energy happy emotion in his/her voice. Would that make us stop and be reluctant to run to a doctor for medication? I guess that may depend on how "sick" you really are.
