Russian state propaganda promptly responded to severe restrictions in Internet connectivity experienced by most citizens in Russia since March 2026 - blocking and slow down of popular instant messaging and social media platforms, most notably Telegram, as well as regional blocking of mobile Internet. Prime time channel "Rossiya Odin" aired a song performed by a popular children musical group who happily sing how they refuse to spend any time on the Internet because thanks to the blockades they now have more time for physical activities and playing with their friends.
