「拍馬屁」不是拍馬的屁股？！🐴😂
“Pāi mǎ pì” doesn’t mean patting a horse’s butt?!

在中文裡，拍馬屁 pāi mǎ pì 的意思是：
In Mandarin Chinese, pāi mǎ pì means:

為了討好別人，故意說好聽的話。
To say nice things on purpose to please someone.

英文可以說：
In English, you can say:

flatter someone
拍馬屁、奉承某人

butter someone up
說好聽的話討好別人

例如：
For example:

老師，你今天好漂亮喔！所以今天可以少一點作業嗎？
Teacher, you look so beautiful today! So, can we have less homework today?

老師可能就會說：
The teacher might say:

你是不是在拍馬屁？😂
Are you trying to flatter me?

Quick reminder:

朋友之間可以開玩笑說，
You can use this jokingly with friends,

但是對不熟的人說，可能會有一點不禮貌喔！
but it might sound a little rude if you say it to someone you don’t know well.

「有夠」 means “super,” “very,” or “really” in English.

Taiwanese people often use it in daily conversations:

有夠熱！
It’s super hot!

有夠累！
I’m super tired!

有夠好喝！
It’s really delicious!

Do you know what “jiū yí xià” means?

在台灣，大家常說：

In Taiwan, people often say:

「晚上揪嗎？」

Wanna hang out tonight?

「要不要揪一下吃飯？」

Want to meet up for food?

「揪朋友一起去旅行！」

Invite friends to travel together!

✨「揪一下」就是：約大家一起做某件事！

“Jiū yí xià” means to invite people to do something together!

下次也可以跟朋友說：
「要不要揪一下？」😆

「瞎」xiā
原本有 blind 的意思，
但在台灣口語裡，常用來形容一件事很誇張、很不合理、讓人傻眼。

“Xiā” originally means “blind,”
but in Taiwanese Mandarin slang, it can describe something ridiculous, absurd, or something that makes no sense.

例如 Example：
你怎麼這麼瞎？Nǐ zěnme zhème xiā?Why are you being so ridiculous?

朋友之間開玩笑、吐槽時很常用喔！👀✨
It’s often used jokingly between friends.
