Rut's Happening with Andrew Rutberg

Andrew Rutberg returns after a short hiatus. He talks about attending 80 of 81 Chicago Cubs home games this year and looks forward to the playoffs at Wrigley Field. Rut is then joined by his fellow University of Wisconsin alum and good friend, Sherp. A bit of massively exciting personal news is revealed before they break down the first four weeks of the NFL season, make their World Series predictions, and discuss soccer becoming a more popular sport than hockey. Sherp & Rut also discuss why Toronto is a great place to vacation and they wonder if either of them should ever return to Ann Arbor, Michigan.

On episode 23 of “Rut’s Happening” Andrew Rutberg is joined by fellow Chicagoans and UW alum, Rib and Luber. They discuss why they chose to attend college in Wisconsin, whether they've adopted any local sports teams, and the NFL finally returning to Los Angeles. The guys debate the best steakhouse in Chicago and whether Rib could beat any one single athlete in the Olympics. Rut also tells the story of when he was wrongly arrested in Milwaukee.

On episode 22 of “Rut’s Happening” Andrew Rutberg is joined by his good friend and recurring guest, Sherp. They talk about their excitement for the start of NFL Preseason and America’s domination the Rio Olympics. Rut and Sherp look back on the illustrious careers of Brett Favre, Prince Fielder, Alex Rodriguez, and Mark Teixeira. Sherp suggests starting a movement for women's gymnasts to wear shorts and Rut wonders if Donald Trump is upset that the USA continues to be great at everything.

On episode 21 of “Rut’s Happening” Andrew Rutberg reveals how a stomach ulcer caused him to miss his first Chicago Cubs home game of the 2016 season. Rut is joined by his producer Fred and they break down what the best month of the year is for sports fans, Jimmy Walker winning his first major at the PGA Championship, and what it’s like to be obsessed with the NFL all year long.

On episode 20 of “Rut’s Happening”, Andrew Rutberg is joined in studio by Ben Follansbee aka Deuce and returning guest, Bones. Rut finds out how Deuce decided to attend UW-Madison and what it felt like to watch the Red Sox break their curse. Sliv and Deuce ask Rut about his bathroom routine for Cubs games at Wrigley Field. The guys also discuss Tom Brady’s deflategate suspension, Halloween costumes, and attending big music festivals like Lollapalooza.

On episode 19 of Rut’s Happening, Andrew is joined by chocolatier Mike Auda. Rut uses Pau Gasol to help defend his own current beard and hairstyle. Auda reveals an agreement that he made with his wife about raising their kids to root for certain sports teams. On episode 18 of “Rut’s Happening”, Andrew Rutberg talks about his trip to San Diego for the MLB All-Star Game. Rut and his producer Fred also discuss Pokemon Go, Tom Brady’s suspension, and the possibility of the Boston Celtics trading for Russell Westbrook or Blake Griffin.

Andrew Rutberg brings on good friend, fellow Wisconsin alum, and Cubs fan Mark aka Cork. Together they break down the Bulls signings of Dwayne Wade & Rajon Rondo, and discuss who looks good in the NBA summer league. Rut and Cork also lament the Cubs current free fall and question whether they can still win the world series.

Episode 15 of “Rut’s Happening” features Andrew Rutberg defending Kevin Durant’s decision to leave Oklahoma City for the Golden State Warriors and why fans shouldn’t be upset at players for chasing championship rings.
