God's children defy the environment they are in to sing his praises even in a strange land. We are not the breed that is changed by the environment but one that transforms whatever environment we find ourselves in

God does not give up on us because we are down. He does not break a bruised reed or snuff out a smouldering wick. So long as the desire to continue trusting him is there, you can be sure to recover.

While God may not rush to get us out of problems, He always ensures that his peace is with us. Amidst the storms of life, God's peace is always available for our recovery.

Quite often and in his wisdom, God will cause us to go through challenges but largely for other people. Those are the moments when God is preparing us to be vessels of helping others

God causes us to recover even when we have sinned. He never withheld manna from the Israelites despite their sin and used David's mess with Bathsheba for his own glory

God is moved when we raise a sign of hope amidst our challenges because He ensures that we come back to honour him for what He has done for us. Jacob anointed a stone during his down moment

As long as we are willing to try, God is never moved by our failure and will help us recover. Samson failed but recovered because he cried to God

Many are the times God will come calling when we are washing our nets to go home. Peter recovered because he was patient to wait and obey God

To recover, we should always look out for the opportunities contained in our messes. We can still do letters to encourage others in our prisons

God has no problem bringing about our recovery as long as we are willing to start afresh however small.
