The wages of sin is death and all suffering is as a result of the fall. Just as a parent will discipline children for mistakes, there is a suffering and pain we go through as a result of our sins. The prodigal son parable is a good example!

God's presence becomes more real to us when we are passing through afflictions. A wilderness becomes a place for us to listen and relate closely with him!

Some sufferings and challenges we go through happen to enable us to be an encouragement to some other people that God in his sovereign plan will bring our way!

Part of the sufferings that we go through is an exam that God allows us to go through for our promotion

We may never understand why we face various challenges in life but we can always be confident that God has promised never to leave us nor forsake us!

The scriptures says the day of evil will come and we need to arm ourselves with the whole armor of God! The greatest encouragement we have is knowing that God is always with us.

God says vengeance is his and will not hesitate to repay evil for those who sow evil. Its a dreadful thing to fall into the judgement hands of God!

When God allows the devil to get us through challenges, God knows where He will rescue us! Evil never have the final say in our lives.

Quite often in our fight with evil, we get to our end not knowing what to do. Be it Elijah praying that he may die or three Hebrew boys standing their ground against Nebuchadnezzar terror, God always come to the rescue of his children in the face of evil!

Many people perceive virtues such as love, kindness, generosity amongst others as signs of weaknesses. We should never abandon them for no matter how long it takes, darkness will never extinguish the light!
