Dr. Natalie Newman is a residency trained, board-certified emergency physician who has been practicing for over 25 years.

She graduated from California State University in Sacramento, California with a degree in Biological Sciences. She then attended medical school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio on an Army scholarship. As a graduating senior, Dr. Newman was nominated by and presented with the Marjorie M. and Henry F. Saunders award for "her compassionate care of patients within the family structure" by the dean of her medical school. After her graduation, she was accepted into the emergency medicine residency at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York. Upon completing her program, Dr. Newman entered active duty service with the U.S. Army. Her first assignment was at Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. During her stint in the Army, Dr. Newman was deployed to Bosnia-Herzegovina(the former Yugoslavia) where she was Chief of the Emergency Department at Eagle Base in Tuzla, Bosnia. She had the distinct honor of serving under the command of Colonel Rhonda Cornum(now a retired brigadier general), a urologist, pilot and former prisoner-of-war during the Persian Gulf War. While in Bosnia, and as the only American female physician in the Balkans at that time, Dr. Newman was assigned as the official physician for Queen Noor of Jordan during a humanitarian visit to a local hospital in Bosnia. After her return home to the U.S., she was promoted to Major and completed the rest of her Army service at Fort Bragg.

Dr. Newman subsequently returned to her home state of California. She has worked in rural facilities, community hospitals, trauma centers, urgent cares, correctional medicine and for the Veterans Administration. She has also served as a ship physician for a major cruise line and provided physician services at the Coachella/Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California for three years. Dr. Newman participates in public speaking engagements discussing the value of education, of which she is passionate. She continues to practice clinically as a traveling physician.

Desh Mohan is a practicing hospitalist and the Chief Medical Officer at Koda Health, a digital health company that leverages technology to make proactive medical care planning accessible to all. Dr. Mohan received his B.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, his M.D from UT Southwestern Medical School, completed his Internal Medicine residency at Baylor Medical College, and was a Digital Health Biodesign Fellow at the Texas Medical Center Innovation Institute.

Dr. Mohan is particularly passionate about improving and positively impacting patient care through innovation. He was first introduced to innovation and design as an undergraduate at MIT. Through MIT's Development Lab and Public Service Center, he worked with communities in Tanzania and India to improve healthcare infrastructure development with technology. Later as a medical student, Dr. Mohan co-founded the Innovating Healthcare Solutions elective to teach the basics of sustainable development and innovation to medical school students. As a medical student, he also spent a summer as an intern at McKinsey & Company to learn how physicians can use their training to have a larger impact on healthcare. These early experiences were instrumental in his desire to return to entrepreneurship after his clinical training. After internal medicine residency, he worked as a locum tenens hospitalist which gave him the opportunity to understand how healthcare was delivered in multiple systems around the country. Dr. Mohan was selected as a Digital Health Biodesign Fellow at the Texas Medical Center Innovation Institute. During this one-year supported entrepreneurship program, Dr. Mohan and his team co-founded Koda Health to improve patient access to advance care planning. He currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer of Koda Health.

William Ennis, Chief Medical Officer, joined Healogics in 2015. He also presently serves as the Catherine and Francis Burzik Professor of Wound Healing and Tissue Repair and as the Chief of the Section of Wound Healing at the University of Illinois at Chicago, department of vascular surgery. He has practiced wound care for over 25 years.

Previously, Dr. Ennis served as the CMO for Accelecare Wound Centers, as well as President of the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care. He is board certified in general surgery, vascular surgery and family medicine with a certificate of added qualification in undersea and hyperbaric medicine. Dr. Ennis founded the first wound healing and tissue repair fellowship in the United States, as well as served as President of the American College of Wound Healing and Tissue Repair.

After graduating from the State University of New York at Stony Brooke, Dr. Ennis earned his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He subsequently received his MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management in Chicago. Dr. Ennis also has a Master of Medical Management degree from the University of Southern California.

Dr. Robert Pearl is the former CEO of The Permanente Medical Group (1999-2017), the nation's largest medical group, and former president of The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (2009-2017). After finishing his residency at a highly renowned psychiatry program (where he served as a Chief Resident), Dr. Deshmukh started his career as a geriatric and addiction psychiatrist in Central Florida.
