Ryan Beard is the Head Football Coach at Missouri State University.  He is entering his second year as one of the youngest head coaches in Division One, and preparing his program to make the jump next year to the FBS level and Conference USA. Beard was a talented athlete, quick to point out the influence of his family and how he was shaped by the environment in which he was raised.  The Missouri State Bears are getting ready for the dog days of summer and what is sure will be a challenging preseason camp full of hard work.  Coach Beard was able to carve out a few minutes for me before he dives in head-first.
