Ryan Fitzgerald is commonly known for hosting breakfast radio with NOVA on the Fitzy & Wippa Show, and regularly appearing on our TV screens with Channel 10’s The Project and Channel 7’s The Front Bar warming the hearts of Australian’s all over the country. However, there is so much more to the loveable, down to earth character of Fitzy.A highly talented AFL player, Fitzy seemingly had the world at his feet as an 18-year-old, being selected with Pick #4 in the AFL draft. A promising debut where he kicked 5 goals soon turned sour where injuries would take its toll. Fitzy quickly found himself back in Adelaide, pouring beers at the local pub with no clear direction of where his life was heading.This inspiring episode shares the emotional highs and lows that life can throw at us, but importantly also reminds us of the need to be kind to one another and appreciate what we have.
