Esosa Agbonwaneten is founder and CEO of Bulletin, a digital planner that helps students keep themselves accountable for their academic deadlines. Bulletin successfully launched its pilot at UC Irvine during the fall of 2015. Agbonwaneten was inspired to start Bulletin because of her own academic experience. As a pre-med student, time was valuable. She yearned for an easier way to manage her schedule, and find information since the traditional means of campus calendars, emails, and flyers made it difficult to discover opportunities that resonated with her. Bulletin’s vision is to empower students with the information they need to succeed in college by personalizing the collegiate calendar for each student. She has appeared on PBS Studio SoCal, and has spoken at UCI, USC, and Cal Poly Pomona. On the show, we discuss how to use social media to not only build brand awareness, but how to leverage it for market research and growing users/customers. Tune in and “Get Notified”.
