Shann Dornhecker started out programming computers at age 9 on punch cards taught by her grandfather who designed the original computer systems for Boise Cascade. She moved onto taking programming courses on the local college mainframe by age 12. Speaking numerous languages besides having a gift for programming, her skills took her all over the world until age 19 where she was recruited into US Navy, where she served 6 years and upon honorable completion of service, she moved to Los Angeles to work in the entertainment industry enjoying a successful 15 year career before founding Vixere Consulting in 1995.
