07/30/25: KFGO News reporter Ryan Janke and his wife, Tabitha, have purchased the Ashley Tribune and Wishek Star from Tony Bender’s family, who took over after his death last fall. Ryan, as well as India Bender, join Joel Heitkamp on "News and Views" to talk about Tony Bender's legacy and why Ryan decided to take over the local newspapers. 

Ryan Janke plans to continue in his news reporting and anchoring responsibilities at KFGO. He’s a native of Wishek and joined KFGO News on a full-time basis three years ago.
