12.23.2021 - By Ryan Stewman
Today's episode I'm riding solo. It's inspired by Pastor Keith Craft who is head of the largest Mega Church in Dallas, Texas. He said to me, "Ryan, when I was 40, I did a sermon on the Lessons of the last 4 decades of my life." I thought, well, that's a great idea. I'm 42 now. I've learned quite a bit since I was a kid, so I'm going to share what I've learned with you over the last 4 decades of my life. From ages birth to 10 years old I learned that people come and go From 10 yrs - 20 yrs of age, I learned the hard way that you have to be careful who you hang with In my 20s, I learned that everything you've done in your past, can be fixed and made right again In my 30s-40s, I got to use 3 decades of what I learned. I'll share some stories and insights that led to the biggest lessons from the last 4 decades of my life: - Abandonment as a child - Loss of family - Hanging out with the wrong people - Forgiving Myself - How to Make Past Wrongs Right - What I Did to Change the Trajectory of My Life As we come to the end of 2021, take a moment and write down the lessons you've learned from over the decades you've lived. That's where you'll see how much you've grown. Enjoy your Christmas with your family! #RiseAbove HOW TO GET INVOLVED: This planet is based on an algorithm and with every positive action, there is an adverse reaction.
