Describing the different types of authority structures within certain cultures, Ravi Zacharias goes on to say that the lack of tolerance in the western culture, as it relates to repressing free speech coming from personal beliefs, is counter to the type of culture it purports to be.

Having discovered a spiritual emptiness in the lifestyle of the west, people in the east have gone back to their spiritual roots and consequently there is a resurgence of eastern religions. This resurgence has manifested itself in an attitude of superiority over the western worldview in the area of spiritual understanding.

Due to the lack of a coherent worldview that young people receive from the existentialist philosophy, rather than causing them to turn away from Christianity, it makes them more open to it as they search for meaning and purpose.

In the West Christians are told, it is okay to believe in God, but keep it private, to yourself. Ravi Zacharias explains that if Christians abide by this admonition then disastrous consequences will occur both individually and in the culture.

Ravi Zacharias describes how the message of Christ's salvation came to his family, starting with himself, then his siblings and eventually his mother and father and with it came a complete change in their lives.

Ravi Zacharias provides a warning to journalists and those in media about their mocking of the Judeo-Christian worldview since it is from this worldview that the freedoms that they currently enjoy are derived.

Ravi Zacharias explains that God is desiring the same relationship with us that He has with the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ the Son and that which is preventing us from having a relationship with God is not our lack of morality. It is our lostness.

Since death is the outcome of sin and justice demands a price be paid for that sin, God's deliverence of His own son, Jesus Christ, to pay that price becomes the ultimate demonstration of love.

Sin is at the center of many problems in our lives and some of the outworking of that sin may be the loss of relationships that are damaged beyond the point of repair. Sin is the source and damage and destruction in our lives is often the result.
