Ken was a well loved Jr. High School teacher in Des Moines, Iowa. He knew he was gay but went the route of marrying a woman, having children with this woman and not living his truth. But in the 80's Ken decided it was time to be who he really was. His life would come crashing down one fateful night in February of 1988. His teenaged daughter was a prime suspect at first.

Our True Crime Quickie is from Washington State. Two traveling nurses Josilyn and Brandy had gotten engaged to each other in 2022. In the summer of 2023 they were both working in Seattle. They bought tickets to Beyond Wonderland, an EDM Festival not too far away. Their lives would end at the hands of a man who claimed he was tripping off of mushrooms.
