Isaiah lived in a corrupt time. God sent him to call out his people for their corruption. This passage contains condemnation for the unrepentant. But it also has the most beautiful expression of mercy and restoration.

Today's message is an explanation of Proverbs chapter 10. It contains many practical lessons for living well.

Jesus tells us to keep praying, have the right attitude when we pray, and trust God like a child.

Abram saves Lot and has an important encounter with a strange priest. He also receives assurances that the LORD will take care of him.

James warns us to avoid the sin of presumption. He connects it to arrogance. Jesus also connected it to greed. In this message we try to learn how to be dependent on the LORD in our future plans.

The seven promises to Abram are significant. All the families of the earth are blessed because of Abram. In this study we learn of Abram's journey from his homeland into the land of Canaan. There, the LORD revealed to Abram many wonderful assurances.

As Christians we face a different warfare than we see in the world. Learning how to fight this war is our duty as believers.

Psalm 143 was a prayer of David's. He was in trouble, and he wanted God's help. Following his example. Believers should be confident that the LORD cares about them. Though we may be discouraged, a faithful prayer is a certain means to overcome.
