The Kingdom of Heaven

This is a message taken from John 21.

This lesson from Matthew 9 includes the call of Matthew, the confrontation with religious leaders, and many miracles of our LORD.

Dreams play many roles in the Bible. They can be warnings, prophesy, encouragement, and protections. Dreams can be false or meaningless as well. In this message, we try to find out the biblical role of dreams and apply it to today.

Matthew relates the story of the visit of the Magi to the baby Jesus. Because of the real threats to Jesus' life, God warned those around Him to protect the child. Their obedience kept the young Savior safe for His essential mission.

God moved Heaven and Earth to send Jesus to us.

A Roman Centurion approached Jesus requesting healing for a sick servant. Jesus told him that He would go to the soldier's house. The Centurion surprised Jesus with his response.

In the final two verses of Jude. we read an amazing tribute to God. That tribute is relevant for our lives today.

This message is from Mark Chapter 4. It is the parable of the sower. Jesus told it to His disciples and then explained it. The purpose of the story is to warn us to avoid the traps and obstacles that keep us from bearing fruit.
