We are easily distracted by the "shiny objects" that cross our paths. Yet, we are never satisfied with the things we see. God tells us that if we pursue the right things, we will see Him.

Two of Jesus' disciples encountered the Lord unawares after the Resurrection. Their story is one of the most encouraging in all of the Bible.

In ancient Israel, the prophet Elisha stood out as a man of great faith. In 2 Kings 6, Elisha demonstrated his faith when he was surrounded by an enemy army. This is a lesson for us today.

In Matthew 21, Jesus is confronted by the religious leaders asking from where did His Authority come? Jesus answered with a question and two parables. He finishes by describing Himself as the Foundation Stone rejected by the builders.

In 2 Corinthians 5:7 Paul tells us how we should not be governed by appearances. Instead, we should live by faith. This is so important. When we walk by faith, we have security and hope that the world cannot give us.
