This is the sixth episode of Market With Me Quikly. This podcast is presented by Quikly, a marketing technology that leverages psychology to help your brand cut through the noise and motivate consumers in fun, turnkey ways.
While market noise may be a natural response to the overflow of information consumers receive from brands, it doesn’t make dealing with it any easier. As a marketer, your first reaction is to find a solution. But what about consumers? How do they respond to noise?
Dr. Liad Weiss, assistant professor of marketing at the University of Wisconsin-Madison's School of Business, joined us to shed light on how consumers make purchase decisions, connect with brands and meet their needs when faced with market noise. Weiss graduated with a doctorate in marketing and master’s in philosophy from Columbia University, as well as an M.Sc. in behavioral and managerial sciences and B.Sc. in industrial engineering and management from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.
