Teaching for exams, whether Cambridge exams, IELTS, TOEFL, or any other standardized test, is necessary for TEFL. Students need the B1, B2, C1, or another certificate for their school, job, visa, etc. Teachers can make their ESL lessons engaging and practical for real-life English while preparing for these exams.
