As someone who has mentored and coached many surgeons through the transition from training to career, I’ve seen firsthand how little training provides in terms of launching a successful career. I created this process to address that gap and help you find a job that aligns with your priorities and long-term goals.

This episode will walk you through four key steps that will help you approach the job search with a purpose:

1. Identifying Your Priorities: Learn how to evaluate what's truly important to you and how to make decisions that align with your personal and professional values.
2. Interviewing Intentionally: Master the art of interviewing with purpose. By asking the right questions and aligning them with your priorities, you’ll be able to assess if a job is the right fit for you.
3. Assessing the Opportunities: With multiple opportunities on the table, it’s essential to compare them against your priorities to determine which one offers the best path for success, now and in the future.
4. Negotiating for Lift-Off: Negotiating doesn’t just mean securing a good salary — it’s about building a strong relationship with your future employer and ensuring the terms set you up for long-term success.
