Dehumanising language removes dignity and protection. Labelling a human being an “illegal alien,” criminalises the person, and strips them of their humanity.

Power uses law to enact violence under the cover of impunity.

Immigration is ancient, biblical, natural.

We are all immigrants, moving from town to town, from emotional state to emotional state. From life to life.
