In this episode, Rod and Lesley use the SCARF (by David Rock) model again to talk about why we all reacted emotionally to what we witnessed this week out of the US. The F in SCARF stands for Fairness.  When we see fairness we have a reward response, and we we see unfairness we have a threat response.  This week, the US saw a protest go right into the capitol buildings which has huge political implications.  But many people picked up on how the protestors were treated differently than Black Lives Matter protesters earlier in the year, and how unfair it was. And that riled us up as much as anything else we saw.  Why?  Listen to find out how Rod and Lesley dissect the topic.
