This week’s woman on fire is Celia Newman, an entrepreneur based out of Memphis, TN !! Celia is on because not only is she a lady of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., but she’s also the founder of a Premiere Semi Pro Women’s Basketball League called “She’s Got Game”, AND she’s the Founder & CEO of Elite Level Prep, a student-athlete life skills program to help them succeed in life both on and off the court ! Oh, and we can’t forget that she’s the Co-Founder of Up Next Consulting, which specializes in student athlete development and event planning.
In this episode, Celia tells us a bit about her background as a student athlete at Bethel University, and her journey working in big time college athletics at the University of Memphis. She goes into detail about how that through that experience, she eventually found her passion and transitioned into the many roles that keeps her burning desire to help athletes alive today !
